HomeBound Services (HBS) was founded in 2007, with a passion for ensuring community safety, saving taxpayer dollars, and rehabilitating defendants. Based in Kirkland, Washington, HBS serves courts and communities throughout Western Washington. HBS was the first company to successfully integrate SCRAM (Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitoring) into the Western Washington court system. Our strong commitment to the integrity of our programs has proven us to be leaders in the jail alterative industry!

July 2010, Moon Security Services Inc. (MSSI) moved forward to acquire HBS. Today, MSSI fully owns and operates HomeBound Services, a Division of Moon Security Services. MSSI entered into the Jail alternative industry in 1994. Since that time, Electronic Home Monitoring (EHM) has been offered to courts throughout Eastern Washington, Idaho and Northern Oregon and now, Western Washington. In 2007 MSSI was one of the first agencies in the state of Washington to utilize cutting edge technology- SCRAM (Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitoring).

Moon Security Services Inc. was founded in 1957, starting out as a Guard and Patrol Service Company. In 1970, the new technology of Electronic Burglar and Fire Alarm Systems was introduced and by 1972 we had started the Tri-Cities’ first 24-Hour local Monitoring Station. Alarm Systems as well as Home Automation, Home Theater and Video Surveillance Systems are part of the focus of our business, with the Patrol Division serving the need for response to our client’s emergency alarm signals.

MSSI is Eastern Washington, Northeastern Oregon and Northern Idaho’s most established and largest Full Service Security Company, with over 5000 monitored accounts and an additional 5000+ service accounts. Our Wenatchee office serves Central Washington while the office in Spokane, serves the needs of the Spokane Area, in addition to the North Idaho Panhandle.
